Radiant Heating
More and more home owners are turning to "in-floor" radiant heating technology to heat their homes.  Radiant floor heat comfortably warms the living space of a room without wasting the energy needed to heat the higher spaces to the same degree of comfort.

Radiant floor heating using solar thermal energy can save approximately 50% of the cost of conventional forced air heating systems.  A radiant floor system is an ideal application for solar thermal hot water use.  As the sun moves across the sky, energy is gathered then released through thermal piping which runs along the floor of a room or garage.  Solar assisted radiant floor heating has one of the lowest operating costs of any residential heating option today.  Space heating using a solar thermal hot water system can be the most efficient and comfortable way to heat a home.

Forced Air
Many people do not want to switch their whole heating system.  It is very easy to integrate solar into a forced air heating system.  A water to air heat exchanger can be placed in the plenum of the furnace.  As air passes by the exchanger it is heated up by the hot solar fluid.  This hot air is then circulated throughout the house.  If the solar can not bring the house up to temp your conventional forced air turns on to make up the difference.  These systems if sized correctly can supplament up to 50% of the space heating needs of a home or business.
